Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest,
read the book "Changing Culture, Changing Care SERVICE First"
by Susan D. Gilster, Ph.D., and take the provided post test .
You may mail or fax your materials to DH Special Services. Once
the materials are received and a passing grade is determined,
your certificate will be mailed to you. If you are in need of
the certificate sooner, a copy can be faxed to you and the original
mailed.
Course Content: The reading of the book "Changing
Culture, Changing Care SERVICE First" by Susan Gilster will
introduce the reader to the SERVICE model of leadership. Concepts
of leadership, developing one's personal leadership qualities,
bringing out the best in others and using leadership energy to
promote positive change will be introduced and discussed with
examples.
