Objective: To honor the memory and continue the good works of NJ activity professionals gone too soon.

Scholarship Intent: To assist the scholarship recipient to achieve a minimum of Activity Director Provisional Certification (ADPC) through the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals.

Applicant Pre-requisite:
High School Graduate or GED equivalent
2000 hours work experience in activities in a geriatric setting within past two years.

Application Process:
Complete scholarship application form
Submit three letters of recommendation
Submission Essay

Families of honorees
Residents from facilities where honoree was employed

*One scholarship will be issued per year and presented at the New Jersey Activity Professionals Association (NJAPA) Annual Conference. Scholarship includes:
~MEPAP 2nd Edition (Part I and II) classroom or independent study version
~Required texts for MEPAP 2nd edition
~Any required continuing education hours needed (up to 24) to complete certification process
~NCCAP certification fee
