A Survival Guide for the Activity Professional

Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest, read the book "A Survival Guide for Activity Professionals" by Richelle Cunninghis, Ed.M., OTR/C, take the provided post test and complete the self-reflection worksheet.
You may mail or fax your materials to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade is determined, your certificate will be mailed to you. If you are in need of the certificate sooner,
a copy can be faxed to you and the original mailed.

Course Content: The reading and the worksheet will guide the activity professional through identifying personal qualities and strengths that will contribute to successful leadership;
the development of time management and stress management skills; and problem solving strategies. The author is a leader in the field of therapeutic activities, providing useful information in an easy reading style.
