Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest, read the book "How to Thrive, Not Just Survive" by Marge Knoth, take the provided post test and complete the self-reflection worksheet.
You may mail or fax your materials to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade of 70 is determined, your certificate will be mailed to you. If you are in need of the certificate sooner,
a copy can be faxed to you and the original mailed.

Course Content: The reading and the worksheet will guide the activity professional through the exploration of personal helping skills and techniques that will contribute to personal and professional success. Organization, stress management and developing professional resources will be explored as a means to be more effective in day to day tasks. Ms. Knoth has an easy writing style which leaves one feeling as if they are having a friendly conversation with a professional peer.
